Mortis Mutilati is one of those formidable bands from the 'young generation'. Their progression can be clearly felt with every new release! Their melodic kind of black metal is very efficient, and I find the topics they deal with (in particular on their last album The 'Fate of Flight 800') very interesting! They also have killer artwork made by another extremely talented graphic artist, Erika Asphodel. For this compilation, they proposed 'Flames Behind You', which is a great piece! I like the way they can alternate melodic and furious passages in a coherent, dark ensemble. I'm sure that in the future, they will continue to evolve and propose interesting things...
